Portland! - Point Juncture and the Joggers Friday 2/19 at The Kenton Club 02-19-2010
We could write a book about how much it means to us that The Joggers have finally asked us to play a show with them. I big lovey, gooey book with poems, and pictures. But you should probably just come down and see for yourself why we think they're so cool.

Hey gang!
We're playing a show this Saturday, a low-key thing with our sister band A Weather. Everybody's so busy and we don't get to see them that much so instead of going out to see a movie or scheduling a barbecue we book a Saturday night all ages show at our favorite club. Feel free to come down and join in the love fest. 8:00 $6 8/22 the Artistery. 4315 SE Division
Also! Seattle residents and world traveling festival junkies - We'll be at Bumbershoot on September 7th at the Sky Church 1:45pm
See you around,

Point Juncture Point Juncture April-May tour '09/Heart To Elk Vinyl 04-19-2009Hey guys,
We're leaving this week for the longest, busiest, and most springtimey-est tour we've ever embarked upon. If you live in a major, or even mid sized metropolitan city in this here country there's a pretty decent chance that we're going to be a bus ride and a holler away from your house sometime before June 1st. You may have heard of these other two bands we're traveling with: The Thermals and The Shaky Hands. They're two of Portland's best and they both have a tendency to sell out clubs weeks before they even load their extra guitar strings in the tour van, so give your friendly local box office guy a ring, and be nice. He was probably up late making merch for his rock band.
Our other proud news is that the Heart To Elk Vinyl is finally ready. We enlisted Aaron Miller and Cassie Neth, both artists and print makers, to build a one of a kind album package for Heart To Elk and they came through with something unbelievably cool. On limited edition white vinyl, the record comes sandwiched between spray painted, letter pressed, and die-cut layers of heavy chipboard. The hand written lyrics are printed in full and it comes with a free download of the album on mp3. The download card has wildflower seeds embedded in it so after you've zapped it onto your ipod you can plant it in the yard for flowers to grow. Cool huh? Jason Quigley posted an excellent slide show of photos here on our website.

As usual we're depending on the hospitality of total strangers, and fast-won friends to help us find a carpeted place to sleep in these cities. If you have a feeling that you might like a sweet smelling, mild mannered rock band in your living room for a night please send us a note. We never leave dirty dishes behind.
Thanks everybody for your help,
Point Juncture Point Juncture at Mississippi Studios 4/3 and Tractor Tavern 4/8 04-02-2009Hey guys,
We're warming up our tour set these next couple weeks with some fun Portland and Seattle shows. We'll be at the new Mississippi Studios in Portland this Friday the 3rd with The Worlds Greatest Ghost and the incomparable Alan Singly and Pants Machine. 9pm Show
And we'll be in Seattle next week, Wednesday 4/8, at the Tractor Tavern With Velella Velella and Secret Highways. 9pm show. We get to play with truly great bands. And that makes us happy.
